Yes — joining GolfPal is completely free. There are no subscription fees or hidden charges. The platform is built on a credit system: you host visitors to earn credits, then spend those credits to be hosted elsewhere in the network.
The visitor covers all green fees and any associated costs for the round. GolfPal Credits cover the hosting arrangement — they're a way of exchanging access, not payment. Members are never out of pocket for hosting a guest.
Absolutely — that's at the heart of GolfPal. Every round is a chance to meet a fellow golfer, swap stories, and build connections across the golfing world. Many of our members have made lasting friendships through rounds they'd never have played otherwise.
Many of the world's finest links courses are private or fiercely restricted — accessible only through a member. GolfPal turns that challenge into an opportunity. By connecting visiting golfers directly with local members, we unlock doors that would otherwise stay firmly closed, making legendary courses affordable and achievable for passionate golfers everywhere.
Yes. All members must provide their official club membership number, which is manually verified by our team before they can host or receive credits.
Your privacy is a priority. Personal details — including your membership credentials and contact information — are never shared publicly or sold to third parties. When a match is confirmed, only the information necessary to arrange the round is exchanged between the two parties. Everything else stays private.
Credits are our internal currency. Hosting a visitor earns you credits, which can be redeemed for your own hosted rounds at other partner clubs in our network.
